The current digitalization of the printing industry has been fully embraced at DeJong Printing. We employ Prinergy Evo, a prepress workflow system (originally created by prepress technology provider Creo, a Vancouver-based firm now owned by Kodak). Utilizing both Macintosh and PC front-end stations with current layout software, digital proofs are produced with Kodak and AGFA digital plotters, in both hi-resolution colour-accurate and low-resolution dual-sided versions. The workflow system takes care of trapping, imposition, colour fidelity and other previously manual tasks.
Plates are generated by our Creo Lotem Quantum 400 platesetter. This machine uses SquareSpot™ technology to generate Kodak Staccato™ 10-micron stochastic screening. On-press this results in the absolute highest quality imagery possible. Seeing is believing!
